In April of 2007, we celebrated our 37th anniversary and we are still continuing to grow and change. Since 1970, our company has grown to over 200 employees. Over our long history, Talen’s Marine & Fuel has shown that we have the ability to adapt our business to changing conditions in the market place, while keeping our focus on long-term relationships with our customers. That long-term commitment and the exceptional service we provide continues to be the foundation of who we are.

Having 6 million gallons of fuel storage, the ability to purchase large quantities by barge - along with our own in-house Fuel Trader - assures us competitive pricing. Our Fuel Trader can also provide risk management for our customer’s fuel needs through spot, reference, and fixed pricing.

At present, our fleet includes 11 fuel barges, 10 tugs, 16 transports, 4 bobtails, and 5 lube trucks providing on-time service delivering diesel fuel, gasoline, Jet-A, and lubricants. Throughout our development, we have acquired 6 docks (marine terminals) strategically located in Louisiana and Port Arthur
